I may not be going to China this week, but I am taking a trip to Buenos Aires on United. I have a meeting in Boston on Thursday and found that a ticket on UA to BOS was more expensive than a trip to EZE on UA with a 14hr layover in BOS. I also managed to schedule in a day in Denver on the outbound (when passing through Colorado, I haven’t been outside Denver International Airport since 1997) and a day in Las Vegas on the return.
My time in Argentina will be limited, only five days, but I plan to squeeze in as much as I can, including a trip to Iguazú Falls, a quick hop over to Montevideo, and a few nights at the Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires.
- 21 July: LAX-DEN, all day in Denver, DEN-BOS redeye
- 22 July: all day in Boston, BOS-IAD-EZE
- 23-27 July: sightseeing/relaxation in Argentina and Uruguay, late EZE-IAD departure
- 28 July: IAD-LAS, 8 hours in Las Vegas, LAS-LAX
I will be bringing my computer along and hope to post updates during the trip, but just in case I have prepared the final segments of Central America trip report and a few news items over the next week.
