Over the last couple of weeks a new pair of contributors have made their way to Live and Let’s Fly, but introductions have been light, so it’s time we introduce ourselves: The Traveling Stewarts.
No. That name is better suited to circus folk, and Carnies we are not. We (Kyle and Carly Stewart) are a married couple who travel independently and together depending on the trip and always take their three-year old daughter Lucy along on journeys together.
Carly tends to focus on the family aspect of traveling in a premium fashion. I tend to focus on the nuts and bolts of miles & points and elite status. We don’t always stay in those lanes.
I started writing the Trip Sherpa blog in 2012 while we were on sabbatical in Thailand. I then accepted an invitation to join Upgrd which has since merged with Travel Codex. We found our way to Live and Let’s Fly after working with Matthew for many years and co-founding PenAndPassport.com together. Carly began writing for Upgrd.com, then Travel Codex and now Live and Let’s Fly offering a unique perspective of a well-traveled mom flying with our three-year old in excess of 100,000 miles per year. While there are other “mommy bloggers” few are flying long hauls to Asia and Europe in premium cabins and I think you’ll love her unique approach.
We have both been featured by publications such as:
