Even with my little getaway to Eastern Europe last weekend, work has kept me very busy over the last few weeks. This is a good thing, but 10-12 hour days in the office begin to take their toll after a time.
In Germany, Good Friday and Easter Monday are public holidays so with the extended weekend I am catching a United flight to Washington Dulles this evening to spend the next day and a half with friends before continuing on to Los Angeles for Easter.
The point of this particular trip is to spend time with family and friends, not mileage run, but I couldn’t help to schedule in an interesting routing on my way back to LAX. Stay tuned for more on that, and hopefully a bump on the way, but now I have got to go downstairs and pick up the boarding pass for my flight.
The United flight will feature a 777 aircraft with the outdated business class seats, but if this aircraft is (unfortunately) like most of the international 777s in the UA fleet that have yet to be refurbished, my seat rest will be broken and I’ll least pick up a skykit tonight worth $200.
