JANET, more formally known as the “Joint Air Network for Employee Transportation” is hiring for the first time in eight years. The airline is based in Las Vegas and flies workers to sensitive government installations in windowless 737s.
Like most FA positions, you’ll need a high school degree to apply. You’ll also need U.S. citizenship and to pass basic FA safety training.
But that’s not all. You’ll also need a top secret clearance.
Securing one will require an extensive background check probing your:
- Allegiance to the United States
- Foreign influence
- Foreign preference
- Sexual behavior
- Personal conduct
- Financial considerations
- Alcohol consumption
- Drug involvement
- Emotional, mental, and personality disorders
- Criminal conduct
- Security violations
- Outside activities
- Misuse of information technology systems
